In the last game of the series we lost for undefined period of time our forward Kaspars Daugavins who suffered a serious injury and spent the weekend at the hospital. On Monday he was released and visited our game, team put his jersey on the bench as fans also reacted in the same way showing that Kaspars is with us, with our team.

The game was not as emotional as two days ago; teams still have a lot to lose in this war. Spartak tried to play so accurate in both zones as on the road. In the middle of the third SKA had a 2-0 lead after beauty blast from Nail Yakupov and Vasily Tokranov’s power play goal. It was a difficult task but Spartak came back and tied the game in 21 seconds span after Evgeny Kulik and Enver Lisin goals. Teams went to locker rooms for overtime.

It started with a super chance from Ilya Talaluyev, few minutes later David Runblad tied the series at 2. The decisive goal was only counter after video review; our coaches challenged it for an offside but it was a good goal. The series will continue on Wednesday in St. Petersburg.
