Spartak came to this game having 6-games winning streak in KHL regular season games. It was hard to avoid talks in media about this series but players were quiet telling that they didn’t pay attention to these numbers. Dmitry Vishnevsky returned to our lineup replacing Alexei Grishin.

First period did not include too many chances from both sides, we had a couple of good shots as Dynamo could score from terrible mistake from our defense. In the second frame Dynamo had more possession and opened the scoreboard. Ilya Zubov passed to Vadim Shipachyov who fed up Miks Indrasis with good pass. Another mistake in the third period made the score 2-0 for Dynamo.

We pulled our goalie with three minutes left on the clock and Kaspars Daugavins with Artyom Fyodorov organized a good combination to erase the lead. In the last seconds Spartak had a real chance to tie the game but accidentally we have been robbed in this attempt.
