Spartak falls in the second game of the series
The Red-Whites failed in using goal chances.

Our head coach Oleg Znarok made only one change in the lineup. Ilya Zubov replaced Ilya Arkalov in the game roster. As in the first game our team used short shifts and tried to play very accurately. In the first seconds of the game, CSKA opened the scoreboard however our video coaches told the bench that it was offside. After video review officials disallowed this goal.

In the second period teams exchanged powerplay goals. We tried hard to score in the first periods of this matchup and finally, Dmitry Vishnevsky beat Lars Johansson. However, before the intermission, CSKA restored its lead. In the third CSKA played better and scored three unanswered goals that helped them to win 5-1 and took a commanding lead in the series 2-0.
